Welcome
What’s up with us?
After putting more than 100,000 miles on our minivan over the past several years as we drove around the country playing house concerts, churches and small venues, we’ve decided that there’s “no place like home.”
Greg began experiencing numbness in his right hand in September 2012. It grew worse, and by November his arm was in constant pain. When his pick literally slipped out of his fingers, we knew changes had to be made. As we drove home from a performance in Southern California, we knew that would be our last trip for quite awhile.
But its true that when one door closes, another opens. While Greg started physical therapy, we also poured ourselves into our new project: The Woodshed at Keith Holland Guitars. The Woodshed is a teaching and performance space with a mission of creating community through music. Its a place for all ages and abilities to listen, play, learn and grow musically.
A spinal steroid injection as provided much needed relief from the constant pain Greg has been in, caused by the inflamed nerve roots emanating from two herniated discs. He is teaching private guitar lessons, group beginning blues jam and we are leading an Acoustic Slow Jam group twice a month. We are rotating as Sunday morning guest musicians between several spiritual centers in the Bay Area and we’ll begin to perform public concerts again locally at some point this year.
We are so grateful for everyone’s support, and the good energy and prayers that have been sent our way. You can keep up with uson Facebook and join our email list HERE for updates including new recordings we have planned for this year.
