If you’ve been to a house concert you know how magical it is. If you haven’t, trust us… its a bit of magic that we’ll create together.

Send an email to hc@truewindmusic.com and let us know you’re interested in inviting your friends over for an special evening of music in your living room or backyard. You might want to have a potluck, to kick off a full evening concert on a weekend, or provide dinner for a smaller group on a weeknight followed by a short set of or original songs. We can provide a sound system for large rooms or outdoor concerts. In most cases we won’t need it  - part of the charm of a house concert is hearing the music totally unplugged. We’ll be happy to send you our easy “how to guide,” work with you to set a date and  help you every step of the way!

What is a House Concert?

Some say it’s the modern version of Chamber Music, when musicians would travel from castle to castle to play in the chambers of the nobility. Yes, its like that, but don’t think that you have to have a castle to make this work.

Across the country – and the world – thousands of people are inviting their friends and opening their homes to independent musicians every week. Because these are private events, you don’t tend to see them in the local entertainment listings. But make no mistake, some of the most memorable musical evenings happen in private homes — not on Amphitheatre stages.

House concerts are very special, intimate musical evenings that typically feature original independent music. It’s a chance to let your friends know that a vibrant acoustic music scene exists just under the radar, and creativity thrives when you support independent artists.

As performers, we love nothing better than creating that magic with a room full of people eager for an evening that will lift their spirits and leave them smiling for weeks afterwards. Its something that we all create together, and we thrive on it.
