Great message, Bev and Greg, on “When you know you can’t do it all”, with the thought-provoking quote from Ellen Stapenhorst’s song.

Coincidentally, Sunday I dropped off a bag of warm sweaters and the like at the big One Warm Coat box at a local Starbucks, the first time I’ve ever done that simple task. I’ll try to do it every year from now on. When I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in South India in the early ’60s some in my group got discouraged at the massive poverty and disease, before “think globally act locally” became popular, but every little action can help change the world.

Bev, You and Greg ought not worry about letting your feelings for one another flow during your on or off stage time. The man who left was probably just taking care of himself in the best way he knew how – he may have needed to be (grieve?) alone. Who knows? thanks so much Wayne, we’re grateful to be able to share the message. I received a weekly message today that pegged “tenderness” as the magic at the core of changing out we act, react and generally deal with each other. That really resonated with me (Bev). Now I just have to put it into practice!

Bev&Greg- I am very glad you have started this blog, a positive star shining through a dark sky of impotent dismay. The emails and posts I read are so full of downers and irrational responses that I welcome the opportunity to nudge our dialog in a positive direction. I firmly believe that what we share, what binds us together, is greater than what divides and confounds us. This may be a place where unity and charity can grow.
PS- performing your music as you did in our house concert Sunday evening is a POWERFUL positive force. Keep it up!
